Ediblelinks
About Ediblelinks
Ediblelinks tackles food poverty and diet-related ill health in Northern Warwickshire and surrounding areas by redistributing food surplus. It is a unique partnership, bringing together expertise from the charitable, statutory, and retail sectors to deliver award-winning outcomes.
N&B Healthy Living Network, which is a local health and wellbeing charity runs Ediblelinks.
People having trouble accessing affordable food are either referred from North Warwickshire Borough Council and CAB, or come to us directly through pop up Honesty Shops, and holiday hunger support in return for donations if appropriate.
We also support community groups and schools with provisions for refreshments, breakfast clubs, and many more food initiatives again for a donation, meaning these groups are able to provide affordable activities to their beneficiaries.
Pre pandemic this amounted to helping over 12,500 people per month.
Ediblelinks started with a hardworking man, collecting surplus from the back of a car. It continues to build on its very impressive record redistributing potential food waste. Secure good nutrition and enhanced wellbeing for individuals, families, schools, and community groups across Northern Warwickshire and beyond
